Staffing
Over the years, DMS has built a staff of responsive professionals dedicated to the efficient operation of our clients' organizations. Our staff includes specialists in management, administration, finance, marketing, convention and event planning, clerical support, and computer technology. We are committed to an empowering, participatory management philosophy and believe our employees are our greatest strength.
Our management approach is to establish a team to meet the specific requirements of an organization. The team members will plan and execute the organization's programs under the direction of the account executive who will serve as your organization's staff officer. Our typical team includes the account executive, administrative support, meeting planning, bookkeeping, and computer personnel. All team members are expected to interact with and serve the members of your organization.

DMS offers quiet, yet decisive, behind-the-scenes management services to all our clients to ensure their image stays in the forefront.
DMS currently manages associations, professional societies, and foundations. We also provide meeting management and strategic planning services to other groups on an event-by-event basis. Click here for a sample of our client base.
Several of our groups were previously managed by volunteers before we were retained, and we helped three of our clients start their groups from scratch. In addition, many of our clients have legislative and regulatory programs. Through our groups, we retain three lobbyists on Iowa's Capitol Hill and manage two political action committees. We also provide public policy support in both the legislative and regulatory arenas at the national level for four of our associations.
DMS serves as a resource for corporate organizations who need a wide range of meeting and event management services, both locally and internationally.
