Richard L. Goodson President and Chief Executive Officer Dick holds both BA and MA Degrees in political science from Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana, and Indiana State University, respectively. Dick is a past member of the Board of Directors of the AMC Institute, President of the Greater Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations, Former Board member of the Wakonda Country Club and a volunteer for Iowa's 5th Judicial District. In addition, he is past program chair for the Iowa Society of Association Executives (ISAE), special events chair of the Des Moines Rotary and an active member of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. |

Kerry Poppert Goodson Senior Vice President Kerry holds a BA Degree in Journalism from Drake University. She is a DMS partner and is a member of the AMC Institute, American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), and Iowa Society of Association Executives (ISAE). She is a graduate of the 2006-2007 ISAE Leadership Class. Prior to joining DMS in 1998, Kerry was very active in the horse industry, primarily through her participation in state and national AQHA sanctioned events. She still enjoys attending horse shows and volunteers at local animal shelters. |

Kevin Kruse, JD, CAE Senior Vice President and Legal Counsel Kevin received a BA Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a member of ASAE and ISAE. Kevin is active in various Iowa State Bar Association committees and has recently completed a two year term on the ISAE Board of Directors; he was chair of the ISAE Continuing Education Committee. |

Mary Mycka
Mary has held the position of Senior Account Manager with DMS for 10 years. Her background includes: 11 years as a meeting planner in the hotel industry, 10 years as a teacher, grades pre K-12. Mary received a BS in Education and Home Economics, Iowa State University. She has served with DMS as Executive Director of an international association and is also a member of Meeting Planners International. |

Kathy Rinkenberger
Kathy has held the position of Senior Account Manager with DMS for 6 years. Her background prior to working for DMS includes: 10 years in sales, including hotel sales and the sales of speaker services, and 7 years in meeting planning, working for two seminar companies. Kathy serves as the Executive Director of an international association and a national association and also serves as the DMS office manager. She is a member of the Iowa Society of Association Executives (ISAE) and is a graduate of the 2007-2008 ISAE Leadership Class. |

Lona Christoffers, CAE
Lona has served as Senior Account Manager with DMS since 2000. Lona holds a BA in Health and Physical Education from the University of Iowa. Her background includes: 20 years in association management plus previous experience as a business owner and teacher. Lona is a member of ASAE, AzSAE and is active in her church and a number of civic organizations. Lona currently manages the Arizona office of Diversified Management Services. |

Kate Banasiak
Kate Banasiak, Senior Account Manager, has been with Diversified Management Services since 2005. Prior to joining DMS, she worked as a Meeting & Convention Planner in the hotel industry. Kate graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Business Management. She is a member of ISAE and volunteers for several civic organizations such as Bras for the Cause Iowa. |

In addition to the involvement of our senior staff, all DMS employees are active in the Des Moines community and in other trade associations. Five persons on the DMS staff are members of the Iowa Society of Association Executives, four are members of the American Society of Association Executives and the AMC Institute.
