In addition to the involvement of our senior staff, all DMS employees are active in the Des Moines community and in other trade associations. Five persons on the DMS staff are members of the Iowa Society of Association Executives, four are members of the American Society of Association Executives and the AMC Institute.

Kris Barkley
Kris graduated from Buena Vista College with a degree in accounting. She started working for DMS in 1995, and is currently involved in both accounting and administrative support for multiple clients.

LeAnn Ely, IT Director
LeAnn Ely graduated from Knox College with a BA in Modern Languages. She began her career in association management with Smith, Bucklin & Associations in Chicago, where she worked in the Convention & Trade Show Division. In 2001, LeAnn joined Diversified Management Services, and currently serves as IT Director.

Lacey Hameister, Jr. Account Executive
Lacey Hameister graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. degree in Marketing and Management. She has most recently worked in the sports field as a Sports Information Assistant, participating in event planning and game day management for multiple sporting events. Lacey started at DMS in 2009 and is a Jr. Account Executive.

Ashley Hennig - Jr. Account Executive
Prior to joining DMS, Ashley worked in the nonprofit event management and experiential marketing industries. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Public Relations. She is an active member of the Young Professionals Connection and currently volunteers on their board.

Xiaorong Liu, Administrative Assistant
Xiaorong Liu graduated from Central College as an international student from China. She earned her BA degree in Communication Studies and minored in Business Management. Before joining the DMS team in 2010, she worked in event planning and marketing for multicultural organizations.

Randi Malone, Executive Assistant
Randi graduated from Central College with a BA in Political Science and Sociology. Prior to starting at DMS, Randi had worked in the wedding and event planning industry. She started at DMS in 2007 and has worked with many of DMS' groups.

Stacey Manderscheid graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Marketing. Prior to starting at DMS Stacey had worked in the Hotel Industry as well as having worked in Marketing/Advertising. She started at DMS in 2006 and is an Account Executive. Stacey is strong in graphic and website design. |

Melissa Primus, Account Executive
Melissa has a BA in Business Administration - Marketing and Management from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and has been with DMS for 2 years. Prior to joining DMS, Melissa gained association experience in working for the Iowa Parent Teacher Association and the YMCA of Greater Des Moines.
