Amanda is a numbers person with heart, armed with dual bachelor's degrees in Accounting/Finance and Business Administration from American Institute of Business, plus an MBA from Upper Iowa University. Over the past 25+ years, she's worked everywhere from banks to Iowa Workforce Development's Employer Tax Department to serving as CFO for a non-profit before landing at DMS. Her favorite part of any job has always been the people and the chance to give back. She has spent years helping nonprofits raise money for causes that matter, because making a difference is what it's all about.

When she's not crunching numbers, she is living her best life on the southside of Des Moines with her husband, daughter, and their two adorable (and slightly spoiled) Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Harley and Quinn. She loves belting out karaoke, dabbing bingo cards, and rallying the troops for fundraisers at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where she's been causing good trouble for 15 years.
